gift ideas for capricorn

Hi all. I should be very grateful if you would answer two questions: what gifts do you prefer to get and what gifts do you hate? I need it for article Gift Ideas for Capricorn. Thank you.

Hi! I prefer to get gifts that are related to my hobbies, regardless of whether they are expensive or not. Even a simple calendar with a pic that I like would be awesome, compared to something expensive but in which I hardly have any interest in. Books would be the best gift, I think, since I love to read.

I don't exactly hate any gifts, as I'm grateful to be receiving gifts in the first place, but I appreciate more those which I know that people have put some thought into choosing especially for me. :)

I agree with hieispike, gifts related to my hobbies are the best, even if it's something small or cheap or something, it doesn't matter as long as it's something that has to do with something I already like, that means the person who gives me that gift, knows me better than others.

As for gifts I don't like.. I don't like people giving me clothes, cause I like to choose my clothes, no one knows better than oneself when it comes to choose clothes, and I don't like food as a gift that much either (chocolates, etc), you eat it and it's gone.

I hate getting those way generic gifts- like bath soaps and candles.

I love gift certificates and books. The exception with books is that I would rather get nonfiction books that I can read and reference over and over as opposed to fiction which I never am able to read a second time. It would say a lot to me if the book was hard to find or about something unusual but interesting (like Marriage Rites of Medieval Europe). I'm also fond of jigsaw puzzles.

I don't like getting anything that obviously didn't have any thought put into it, like stuffed animals. Teddy bears are for 3 year olds and I end up hiding them in a closet, giving them away to a young relative, or donating them to charity.

id love a gift that suits my creative side, maybe art equipment or a painting... but id hate something that was sporty or something tacky that i will use straight away and not have something to remember (like cosmetics etc)
